I’ve spent 21 years building custom software and innovative digital solutions. I know how to take a big idea and ship it.
A few years ago I noticed that people could no longer have civil or rational conversations about politics and I started paying closer attention. Something felt different. Dangerous. And I realized I loved my country too much to stay on the sidelines.
A few years ago I noticed that people could no longer have civil or rational conversations about politics and I started paying closer attention. Something felt different. Dangerous. And I realized I loved my country too much to stay on the sidelines.
I went back to school. An AI product design course at MITxPro, and a Citizen Politics course at Harvard Kennedy School based on the work of Thomas E. Patterson, the Bradlee Professor of Government and the Press. I did six months of discovery research on generational voter trends, party politics, the widening gap between conservative and progressive ideologies, increased political violence, decreased federal funding for civic education, and declining civic engagement. That’s where VoterPrime was born.

I decided to build for Gen Z and young Millennials because they are the most checked out voting bloc and yet they have enormous power to shape the future of this country. By 2028 they will be the majority. They know the gap between public will and public policy is real and growing.
I described my idea to Vicki Evans, a retired CPA and former triathlete, and she was immediately on board. Vicki has provided generous seed funding, accounting expertise, and moral support to get us started.
Month's later I described the idea to Dave Kanter over coffee and the next thing I knew he started building our mapping engine and became our CTO!

Eleven years ago, I launched the official Star Wars app. It is still live today! I’m bringing those same skills to VoterPrime, alongside Dave Kanter, who helped build StarWars.com.
